postheadericon Nice “bass Fishing” “New Hampshire” photos

A few nice bass fishing New Hampshire images I found:

leapin’ fishies! {NX style}

Rock bass are the scourge of Lake Sunapee. They’re an invasive species that eat the native fishes food and steal their habitat. Every year on Sunapee there’s a Rock bass fishing tournament. The goal: catch and kill as many Rock bass as possible in 12 hours.

Whenever my dad catches them he kills them. This time, he let them sun themselves on the dock.

This image was processed using Nikon Capture NX. I used the control points to pull the detail out of the sky. I also straightened the horizon.

The ACR version is here

confirming a net after a flood boat, gradually forcing spot fish released in places along the watershed. When fish are released in the traditional truck stocking method, “she has a tendency to pod and is easier prey for humans, birds and other predators,” explains Freda, a certified Maine Guide. Last year was the first year the Maine DIFW stocked the upper Androscoggin using drift boats.

In cooperation with Trout Unlimited, Maine plans stock the upper Androscoggin and Kennebec Watershed this year to float. A place Embden greenhouse supplies brown trout and a breeding place Casco Bay supplies rainbow trout stocking in 1700-1800 fish float in the upper Androscoggin.
