Forbidden Fish (Joke) =]?
Question by All-British-Reject: Forbidden Fish (Joke) =]?
A man was stopped by a game-warden in Northern Michigan recently with two buckets of fish leaving a lake well known for its fishing.
The game warden asked the man, “Do you have a license to catch those fish?”
The man replied to the game warden, “No, sir. These are my pet fish.”
“Pet fish?!” the warden asked.
“Yes, sir. Every night I take these here fish down to the lake and let them swim around for a while. I whistle and they jump back into their buckets, and I take em home.”
“That’s a bunch of hooey! Fish can’t do that!”
The man looked at the game warden for a moment, and then said, “Here, I’ll show you. It really works.”
“OK. I’ve GOT to see this!” The game warden was curious, now. The man poured the fish in to the lake and stood and waited. After a several minutes, the game warden turned to the man and said, “Well?”
“Well, What?” the man responded. “When are you going to call them back?” The game warden prompted.
“Call who back?” The man asked.
“The fish.” replied the warden.
“What fish?” The man asked.

Q&A: I’m watching Animal Planet about “killer snakeheads”.?
Question by Messin with Sasquatch!: I’m watching Animal Planet about “killer snakeheads”.?
You’d think there’d be a way to “commercial fish” them out of Lake Michigan. I been reading articles of how they were introduced into the regions to “feed on waste” of fishing ponds. Do they taste any different than other river fish?
THose “leaping silver carp” look just as dangerous. WHOA!

While charter fishing together, we can share my expertise along with the love of fishing. And while in the Upper Peninsula, (Escanaba , Gladstone , Manistique, Mi.), take advantage of the tourism which offers the finest in food, lodging, scenic beauty, and related activities.

Your Captains
U.S.C.G Captains Janice and Ken Deaton (pictured above) have been fishing the Great Lakes for over 20 years. Home to the Thumb Area, and the waters of Lake Huron, Janice and Ken can guide you and your fishing party to some of the area’s best fishing "hot spots".
Fishing
On Lake Huron, you’ll fish for Chinook salmon (Kings), these fish can be caught as big as 30 pounds, but average is around 10-18 pounds, Brown trout, (check out the 26 pounder in the photo section), Lake trout, Steelhead,& Perch. There is no experience is required, so what ever your level of expertise, JLYN Charters will guide you to that fish of a lifetime. Remember to bring a cooler for the trip home. All fish are cleaned and bagged. Our season starts off on Lake Huron in mid April and runs thru October. In the Spring we fish for King Salmon and Brown Trout, as the summer progresses, expect a mixed bag, of steelies, chinook, browns, and lakers, in late summer, we fish walleye, ( July and August), and Lake Huron walleye fishing is some of the best on the Great Lakes, then in the fall, the "big ones" (chinook salmon) return. We fish the entire "Thumb" area which includes, Lexington, Port Sanilac, Harbor Beach, and Port Austin.
